This week, I had the pleasure of meeting Eric Yanagihara. He’s a 29-year-old (finally, someone who is also from Dinoland!) geography major from Torrance, California. This is his first semester at CSULB after transferring from El Camino Community College. He originally intended on becoming an account major, but he soon realized that he wouldn’t be happy working behind a desk, crunching numbers all day. He enjoys being outdoors and was highly influenced by a geography class he took while completing his general ed courses. He intends on eventually working outdoors in conservation or agriculture. His interests include rock climbing, landscape photography, and record collecting. He is of Japanese, Italian, Scottish, and Irish decent. After speaking to Eric, I realized that we actually have a lot in common. We both like to be outdoors and we both share a love for record collecting. It was really nice meeting and talking to Eric. Eric is cool!
